Anand is the visionary founder of Sankul Design Studio, a seasoned expert in the field of product / automotive design with over 23 years of rich and diverse experience. He holds a post-graduate degree in Product Design from Coventry University / MSRSAS, where he honed his skills and passion for innovation.
Anand's remarkable career journey began at a grassroots level as a tool and die maker, where he developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of manufacturing processes. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for his exceptional expertise in design, engineering, materials, tooling, and manufacturing. His holistic approach enables Sankul Design Studio to streamline product development, resulting in both time and cost savings.
Throughout his illustrious career, Anand has made significant contributions to various global automotive companies, including Tata Motors, Visteon, Toyota, TVS Sundaram, Abhijeet Dies & Tools, and Tata Auto Plastic Systems. His portfolio boasts a wide range of achievements in the design and development of iconic passenger cars such as Tata Altroz, Tata Nano, Tata Hexa, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio, and Peugeot 3008. Anand's influence extends to commercial vehicles as well, including the JCBL Destiny Bus, Electric Buses, Electric Trucks, Forklifts, and Electric Bikes and Scooters for innovative startup companies.

Color, material and finish design is a crucial aspect of automotive design that influences visual appeal, brand identity, differentiation, perceived quality, user experience, emotional connection, durability, resale value, and environmental considerations.
