About the Founder
Anand M Kulkarni:
With over 25 years of experience in industrial design, engineering, and product development, Anand has transformed ideas into market-ready products across mobility and consumer industries. His multidisciplinary expertise bridges design, engineering, and manufacturing, delivering solutions that are both innovative and production-ready.
Throughout his career, Anand has played a pivotal role in the development of iconic vehicles including the Tata Altroz, Tata Nano, Montra Electric Truck, EKA 3W-EV, Tata Hexa, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio, Peugeot 3008, Godrej Forklifts, while also leading design programs for electric buses, trucks, three-wheelers, forklifts, motorcycles, scooters, and next-generation mobility startups.
Having collaborated with leading organizations across Asia, Europe, and North America, Anand brings a global perspective and a relentless pursuit of design excellence. Today, he leads Sankul Design Studio with a singular vision to create meaningful, world-class products that inspire, perform, and make a lasting impact.
